On a computer, the microphone in the top bar (or Alt+K) turns on listening, which stays on until you turn it off (the button again, a tap on the speech bubble, or “turn off microphone”). On a phone, the microphone button on the chart listens to one phrase per tap; if the phrase opens a window to confirm, it listens once more for “confirm”. Held for 2 seconds (on a computer too) the microphone stays in continuous listening until you tap it again. On a phone, continuous listening uses local recognition: it runs in the browser, without sounds, without internet and without going through Google; the first time it downloads the speech model (about 40-50 MB, then it stays in the cache; there is one model for Italian and one for English, chosen by the interface language). With the interface in English the microphone listens in English (en-US) and the answers are read in English. The phrases are those of the palette, spoken as they come: “bitcoin 4 hours ema 50”, “rsi 14”, “alert at 85000” (or “85k”), “buy 0.1 at 84,200”. The symbol can also be given in parts: “btc usdt”. Also the name of a palette command: “log scale”, “strategy tester”, “screenshot”, “undo”.
You don't need the exact phrase: politeness words (“please”, “can you”, “thanks”, “right now”) are ignored and there are several ways to say each command; the examples below are one way for each.
- confirm (or “ok”, “yes”, “send it”, “do it”) presses the main button of the open window, for example “Buy at market”; cancel or close closes it. Delete confirmations (drawings, scripts, alerts) must still be pressed by hand.
- Appearance and panels: “hide the grid”, “show the volume”, “turn on the countdown”, “crosshair magnet”, “time zone new york”, “show the volume profile”; “zoom in”, “zoom out”, “scroll back”, “scroll forward by half a screen”, “scroll back a little”, “scroll forward 20 bars” (also “a quarter”, “a third”, “30 percent”); with the guide open “scroll down”, “go to the top”, “next section”, “go to section alerts”, “search alerts in the guide”, “close the guide”; “open the news”, “open the calendar”, “open the order book”, “hide the side panel”, “collapse the bottom panel”; “open settings”, “open layouts”, “save the layout”; “theme midnight”, “shape glass”. The strategy return: “how well did the strategy do” (reads it out).
- Trading, alerts, speedometer, drawings: “leverage 10”, “isolated margin” (for the chart symbol), “reverse the position” (opens the order already filled in, then “confirm”), “show orders” / “show positions” / “show trade history”; “pause alerts” / “resume alerts” (for this symbol, or “pause all alerts”); “what does the gauge say” reads the signal and the sides of the timeframes; “lock drawings”, “unlock drawings”, “duplicate the drawing”, “line width 3”, “thicker”, “clear all drawings” (asks for confirmation).
- note … writes a note on the chart at the crosshair price (or at the last bar) with the dictated text: “note buy zone here”.
- Moving through time (also typed in the palette): “last 20 days”, “last 4 hours”, “last month”, “last 200 candles” zoom the chart on that period; “go to march 3”, “go to march 3, 2025 at 2:30 pm”, “go to yesterday at 3 pm” put the date in the center; “go to the end” goes to the last bar. Missing history loads by itself, up to 20,000 candles: further back needs a higher timeframe.
- Drawings on highs and lows of the visible part of the chart: “draw a line between the last two highs”, “extended line on the last two lows”, “horizontal line on the last high”, “horizontal line at 85000”, “rectangle between the last high and low”. A high is a bar higher than its neighbors (as many as the view: zooming changes them). They are undone with “undo”.
- With the stochastic: “line between the last two highs where the stochastic is above 70”, “line between the last two lows with the stochastic below 30” (uses %K of the pivot candle, 14/1 like the indicator; without a number 70 for highs and 30 for lows). Deleting: “delete the drawing” (selected or last), “delete the trendline”, “remove the fibonacci”, “remove the rectangle” (the last of that type).
- Divergences: “show me divergences” looks for them between price and all the indicators visible in the panes below the chart (your own scripts too; it uses their main line; with none it adds RSI and MACD) in the visible part; “divergences with the rsi”, “bearish divergences on the macd”, “hidden divergences” (“all divergences” includes hidden ones). It draws a line on the price between the two pivots (green if it rises, red if it falls; the 6 most recent at most) and the same line on the indicator, in its pane and tells you what it found; “delete the divergences” removes them.
- Colors: said in the drawing (“draw a yellow line”, “draw a red rectangle” activate the tool with that color, which stays for the following drawings) or afterwards, on the selected drawing or the last one: “color red”, “make it green”. Colors: white, black, red, green, blue, light blue, yellow, orange, purple, pink, gray, brown.
- A bubble at the bottom shows what it heard and what it did. Ordinary talk doesn't change the chart: a symbol said on its own must be a single word.
Paper trading by voice (orders open in the window already filled in and go with “confirm”; with the palette command “Orders by voice without confirmation” they go immediately, and the window stays open only if something is missing, e.g. the quantity):
| buy 1 bitcoin at market · sell 0.5 at market | market order (with the symbol the chart changes too) |
| buy 0.1 at 82000 · sell 2 at 84500 limit | limit or stop order (decided by the price, or said: “limit”, “stop”) |
| stop loss at 80000 · take profit 90000 | TP/SL of the chart's position (or the only open one), immediately |
| move stop to breakeven · remove stop loss | stop at the average entry price / no stop |
| close position · close position eth · close all | close at market, after “confirm” |
| cancel orders · cancel all orders | pending orders of the symbol / of all, after “confirm” |
| alert at 85000 | alert window at that price |
Questions
The answer appears in the bubble and is read aloud (turn it off with the palette command “Read voice answers aloud”; the voice, speed, pitch and volume are chosen with “Answer voice”, where you can also listen to a test). The text is rewritten for listening (numbers, percentages, symbols and acronyms spelled out) and by default only the beginning of long answers is read. In the same window: the server's neural voice, much more natural (if the administrator has configured it), interrupt by speaking (a new voice silences the answer, best with headphones), read notifications (triggered alerts and paper orders aloud, with a quiet period) and the command “repeat” to hear the last answer again:
| what is the price of bitcoin · price of eth · price | last price and 24-hour change (without a symbol: the chart's) |
| what is the rsi · what is the ema 200 | value of the indicator on the chart at the last bar |
| how is the position | paper position: side, quantity, average price, profit, liquidation |
| what is my balance · what is my free margin | balance, equity, free margin of the paper account |
| funding | rate and time to the next expiry (perpetuals) |
| what can i say | opens this page |
Indicators already on the chart
| remove the rsi · remove the ema 50 · remove all indicators | removes them (put them back with “undo”) |
| hide the macd · hide all indicators · show all indicators | hides or shows again |
| change the ema 50 to 200 · change the rsi to 21 | changes the parameters, in the order they appear in the settings; with two identical indicators you say which (“ema 50 to 200”) |
“rsi 21” on its own adds another RSI, as in the palette: to change the existing one you need “change … to”.
Alerts on conditions
They open “Create alert” with the quick condition already filled in, on the chart's symbol and timeframe; it goes with “confirm”:
| alert me when the rsi goes above 70 · alert rsi 21 below 25 | RSI overbought / oversold |
| alert me when the price rises 5% · alert me when the price falls 3% in 10 bars | percentage change |
| alert me when the price goes above the ema 200 | price crosses a moving average |
| alert me when the 20 and 50 ema cross · alert golden cross · alert death cross | crossover of two averages (golden/death cross: SMA 50 and 200) |
| alert me when the price makes a new low | breakout of the high or low (without numbers: 20 bars) |
| alert me when volume is 3 times the 20 bar average | abnormal volume |
Conversation and corrections
| and on eth · same on 15 minutes · also ethereum | continues the previous phrase: only the new part changes, the rest of the chart stays as it is |
| no, i meant sol · i meant 4 hours | corrects: the command just given is undone (within 20 seconds) and the new one applies |
| undo · redo | undoes (or redoes) the last command: symbol and timeframe go back as they were, indicators and drawings as with Ctrl+Z. “cancel” on its own closes the open window |
| repeat | reads the last answer again |
Alerts right away: by default an alert said by voice opens the window to confirm. By saying “alerts without confirmation” (or with the palette command “Voice alerts right away, without the confirmation window”; “alerts with confirmation” to go back) it is created at once with the proposed values, with no window; if something is wrong (invalid level) the window comes back into view.
Wake word: with the palette command “Voice commands with the word Anubi”, in continuous listening only the phrase that starts with “Anubi, …” (“Anubi, rsi 14”) runs; anything else the microphone hears (the television, a colleague) is ignored. After a command you can continue without repeating it for 12 seconds, and “confirm” always works with a window open. On a phone, with one tap per phrase, it isn't needed.

Trading, grid, replay and scripts
| buy risking 1% with stop below the last low | computes the quantity: equity × risk ÷ distance from the stop (the last low below the price, or “stop at 83000”); opens the order already filled in with the stop, to confirm. For selling: “stop above the last high” |

| four charts btc eth sol bnb · two charts side by side · three charts · one chart | chart grid, with one symbol per chart if you name them |
| load the layout trading | opens the layout saved with that name (the page reloads) |
| replay from march 3 · replay from 2 weeks ago · replay | starts Bar Replay from that date; “replay” alone lets you choose the bar with a click |

| change length to 100 | changes a numeric input of the indicators on the chart by title (if several indicators have it, the last added) |
| run the backtest · backtest the strategy breakout | reads net profit, trades, win rate, profit factor and drawdown of the strategy on the chart (or adds it) |
Strategies, backtests and scripts
| create a strategy that buys when the rsi falls below 30 | the model writes the Pine code, puts it in the editor, compiles it and adds it to the chart (if it doesn't compile it retries once with the error); then it tells you the result. It needs the service key on the server, and the dictated request (with the code, if you edit) goes to the external service |
| turn the indicator into a strategy · turn the second indicator into a strategy | rewrites as a strategy the script in the editor or the chart indicator you choose (by position in the legend or by name) and runs it again |
| fix the error · modify the script (then you say what to change) · delete the current indicator · put it on the chart | fixes or changes the editor script, removes it from the chart or puts it back on the chart; if you don't say what to change, it asks |
| new strategy · new indicator · run the script · save the script as cross | empty editor, run on the chart, save in the library |
| open the editor · open the tester · open alerts · which strategies do i have | bottom panels and list of scripts (saved or on the chart) |
| how many trades · what is the win rate · what is the profit factor · what is the drawdown · what is the sharpe ratio · what is the last trade · what is the best trade · what is buy and hold | questions about the backtest of the strategy on the chart (from the deep backtest if there is one) |
| backtest for the last 6 months | deep backtest over the period said |
| capital to 10000 · commission 0.1% · pyramiding 3 · slippage 2 | strategy properties; the strategy recalculates |
| optimize the period from 10 to 30 and the threshold from 20 to 40 for profit factor · optimize | optimizer (at most 500 combinations, “step 5” and “at least 20 trades” optional; without inputs, the first two); reads the best combination |
| how did the optimization go · apply the best · stop the optimization | the top three combinations, applies the best one's inputs, stops the calculation |
Step-by-step examples
Phrases can be chained: each one runs on its own, and those that open a window wait for your “confirm”. Five typical sequences:
1. Setting up an analysis
| bitcoin 4 hours | changes symbol and timeframe |
| ema 50 · rsi 14 | adds the indicators |
| draw a line between the last two lows · color yellow | draws the line on the two visible lows and colours it |
| alert me when the price goes above the ema 200 · confirm | opens the alert window already filled in and saves it |
2. Entering a position with the risk decided
| what does the gauge say · how far is the price from the 200 ema | strategy signal across timeframes and distance from the average |
| buy risking 1% with stop below the last low · confirm | size calculated from the stop, order with the stop already set |
| take profit 90000 | sets the position's TP |
| move stop to breakeven · close half · confirm | moves the stop to the entry price and takes half off |
3. The morning check
| summary | price, indicators, position and the next calendar event |
| the 5 strongest in the list · find symbols with rsi below 30 | who moves most and who is oversold in the watchlist |
| which alerts fired today · open the calendar | what happened and what's coming |
4. From idea to tested strategy
| create a strategy that buys when the rsi falls below 30 | writes, compiles and puts the script on the chart (needs the AI key on the server) |
| backtest for the last 6 months · what is the win rate · what is the drawdown | deep backtest and answers on the numbers |
| optimize the period from 10 to 30 for profit factor · apply the best | tries the combinations and sets the best one |
| save the script as rsi oversold | puts it in the library |
5. Practising on the past
| go to march 3 at 2 pm · replay from march 3 | moves the chart to that date and starts Bar Replay |
| step forward 10 bars · speed 5 · pause | replay controls |
| buy 0.1 at market · confirm · exit replay | paper order inside the replay, then back to real time |
How to say it: variants and tricks
| 85000 · 85,000 · 85k · half a percent · 3 percent | numbers can be said as you like; small number words work too (“fifty”, “twenty”) |
| alert me · notify me · warn me · tell me when | ways to start an alert |
| alert me when rsi is above 70 and below 30 · alert rsi 21 below 25 | RSI on one side, the other or both, with the length said before the level |
| remove · delete · take off · get rid of + the rsi | ways to remove an indicator |
| leverage 10 · leverage 5 isolated margin · cross margin | leverage and margin in a single phrase |
| reverse the position · flip the position | closes and reopens on the opposite side (order to confirm) |
| pause alerts · pause all alerts · resume alerts | pause and resume, for this symbol only or for all |
| show positions · show orders · show trade history | tabs of the trading panel |
| line width 2.5 · thinner · duplicate the drawing · unlock drawings · clean the chart | managing drawings (width from 0.5 to 10; thinner line; duplicate; unlock; clear all) |
| speedometer · what does the speedometer say | reads out the strategy gauge signal across timeframes |
If a phrase isn't understood, the bubble at the bottom shows what it heard: try it again shorter, one thing at a time, or say “what can i say” to open this page.
AI interpreter (optional)
If the administrator has put the service key on the server, the palette command “Voice commands: AI interpreter” sends the phrases that were not understood to a small model that rewrites them as a command from this page (“put up that hourly bitcoin chart with the bands” → “btc 1h bb”). Only the spoken text goes to the external service, with the chart's symbol and timeframe. The model doesn't run anything: the command goes through the same rules and confirmations as a phrase said directly. Off by default.
It works in Chrome, Edge and Safari (not in Firefox). In Chrome speech recognition goes through Google's servers: it needs the connection and the microphone permission. The browser uses the microphone only over HTTPS or on localhost: opening AnubiView from an address like http://192.168.… on your home network answers “permission denied”.
